Pipe coupler fix

Ever since I put on the Pro Circuit S/A, I’ve had a problem with the pipe coupler leaking.  The problem occurs because the stop that is supposed to keep the rubber coupler in place is too far back (at least on my hybrid application, maybe it is in the perfect spot if it was on a KX250).  During a ride the coupler slides back and allows oil to leak out at that junction, like this:

This picture shows the gap between the stop and where the coupler should be positioned:

I made a stainless steel ring to take up the gap and keep the rubber coupler in place:

Once I got it into position, I tacked it in place:

Now the coupler can’t move.  I’m also now using a KX125 coupler, which is smaller in diameter.  It fits the pipe/silencer junction tighter and should offer additional sealing.
